   I hope you don’t mind, but I posted a request for information for Melissa on a private Yahoo group called the Patriarchs’ Wives. I’ve been a member there for at least 8 years and there are some very wise, knowledgeable women there. One is a woman who began routine treatments for her colon cancer but quit after the side effects of one treatment. She pursued alternative treatments instead and has since become a naturopathic doctor with her own practice and website. She remains cancer free 6 or 7 years later. When she saw my request for information about Melissa’s cancer, she responded with the following:

   There are really no “cure-every-time” treatments (conventional or

   alternative) for any type of cancer. Conventional medicine treatment for cancer is almost always palliative, but people are made to believe that cures exist when doctor’s use words like “response rate”, etc. However, CANCER IS CURABLE and while they may not accept this now, it is a HUGE blessing that there are no conventional treatments available. Adenocarcinoma is usually slow moving; however, because it is a digestive type of cancer I would highly recommend beginning the Budwig diet ASAP as well as supplementation for H.pylori.

3. Strategies for possible consideration in helping Melissa’s body heal….

   Rex,

   I have read your blog, and just cried so hard after I read it. I could feel your hurt. I have passed it on to the people in church, whose lives you have touched however fleeting your visit with us was. Pastor responded and wanted you to know that our church is here to lift you up in prayer.

   But I want to know what stage Melissa is in right now. I want to know if she can still eat, or take something – even liquid. The reason for that is because you know that my other practice, is in holistic wellness. If she can still eat or take something through her stomach, then we have hope.

   This I know, that cancer cells die when the body cells become alkaline. I have helped so many people recover from cancer, just through nutrition. I have had this practice for the last 12 years. I have stopped people from having a bone marrow transplant, dying from blood cancer and anemia, prevent alzheimer’s, etc. All it does is that it returns the body cells back to what it should be – healthy and alkaline.

   I have this lady in Mexico, whose family was sending her 6 bottles a month, when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 2 years ago, and given 2 months to live. She got so scared that she doubled the regular dose. Two years later, she was alive and cancer-free, and had given birth to a healthy baby boy, and she was 50 years old.

   I’m not saying that this will help Melissa, but it seems that she could lose nothing by doing this. It is a liquid product – a whole food in the form of juice, one ounce of which gives the equivalent of 5 servings of fruits and vegetables. It is called ViaViente. It provides proper nutrition fast, and creates alkalinity in body cells. If ingested by a normal person, in 15 minutes it creates movement in the body cells already – as shown through dark electron studies.
